The following clinics are held at the practice by the practice nurses, midwife, health visitors and doctors:
Many forms of family planning are offered by the doctors and nurses. Should you require any additional information or support, please speak to one of the doctors or nurses.
These are held on Monday afternoons between 14:00 and 14:30.
These are performed by appointment with the practice nurse. Please do not bring children if they have a high temperature or they are unwell.

Dr Money offers a minor surgery service. Please make an ordinary appointment for an initial assessment and you will be given a date for the procedure.
Coronary Heart Disease prevention
We offer this service for men and women who would like a general check-up, cholesterol testing, blood pressure and advice on lifestyle. Please make an appointment with one of the practice nurses.
This is open to adults and children who use inhalers or have been diagnosed as being asthmatic. Please make an appointment with one of the practice nurses. Please bring all your inhalers to the review appointment so that your inhaler technique can be reviewed and adjusted if necessary.

People suffering from COPD have trouble breathing in and out. This is referred to as airflow obstruction. Breathing difficulties are caused by long-term damage to the lungs, usually because of smoking. We regularly monitor patients with COPD and provide an action plan to assist and help you to relieve your symptoms.

Diabetes is a long-term condition caused by too much glucose, in the blood. It is also known as diabetes mellitus. There are two main types of diabetes; type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Our diabetes team will provide you with support, regular reviews and the day-to-day care of your needs.

We offer this service to men and women who would like a general check-up, cholesterol testing (if necessary), blood pressure testing and advice on lifestyle. We can also offer advice on problems related to women's health, eg menopause, contraception and pre-conception. Please make an appointment with one of the practice nurses.
Cervical smears are recommended at three yearly intervals between the ages of 25 and 49, and at 5 yearly intervals between the ages of 50 and 64. There is a national recall system and you will be invited to make an appointment. If you are due for a smear please make an appointment with one of the practice nurses.
New Patient Medical
On registering with the practice you will be offered an appointment for a basic medical review with our Health Care Assistant who will arrange a review.
If you are planning a holiday abroad, please check with us at least six weeks before your departure date. Our practice nurses can advise you on your vaccination requirements and arrange suitably timed appointments for you.
Patients Over 16 Years
Patients over 16 years coming to the surgery who have not been seen in the previous three years can request a medical check with the practice nurse.
Patients Over 75 Years
Patients over 75 years who are not already attending the surgery for check-ups, can book to see a nurse for an annual check-up at the surgery. If you are housebound, this can be done at home. Please telephone the surgery to make an appointment.
Disabled parking is available. If you need to come by car, parking is available in the side roads, except between 1-3pm.
Also there is a place by the back door in the car park for bikes to be left.
